Just Came back from the 4x4 Challenge! @ Tons of PICS!!!!

First Off!: Plz read all so you can know what happened and what measn almos every pic

Well when I arrived I had to add more offical sponsors decals in my RIG, so I did it. Then we moved some kilometers away to at some check point, cordenates (GPS) to start the Navigation challnege by GPS....well I was fucked up, cuz I didn't have the GPS due bit of time that I had to build my Jeep in three days for the challenge and I didn't know how to navigate it.

So I just fallowed the other trucks, also my team, conformed by another cherokee and fallow the tire marks (prints) in the sand left byt he other competitors....that was my "B" Plan....lol

Then I had a problem in the middle of that chellenage when i was following my buddy in the other Jeep with the top grille and my aux fan blew, had to change it and by lcuk I brought an aux fan as spare part, tighted the top grill with some wire ( the onther thing ) and continued.

Then we went to another special, the organization gave us the cordenates, and all started to race like freking drivers, so do I, crossed the little forest, fully of little threes crashing them to pass true them and following the needle in the GPS (me following my team) at all the speed, took the pic in the check point and went to the final check point in the meet.

    I arrived 3th from 25 trucks!!!

In the night was another navigation challnege, was the shitt, I almost get losted, but I followed again the tire marks and stucked in the sund( a tramp) of soft sun, but I managed it by our self ( my on board team) and kept the course and did my three check points!! I arrived 10th from 24 trucks, not bad to be driving BLIND mode.

Well here are some pics.........hehehehe tons must say

    The symbolic START!!!

Re filling some fuel for the specials before starting the race

Some of the check points took by the digi cam, obligated to accumulate points!!!

The final, site, last day where we had three different challenges!

Releasing soem of the stuff to make our kind of bridge for the BIG Damm HOLE

This is the big hole that i was reffering the last week, had something like 2 meters of Height x 2.5 or 3 meters of wide, I told by the people the other date(challenge, in tother places) were biggers than this hole, but this hole was hard to dig and make the little"road", "way" to make the Jeep pass over it...no direct bridge was allowed!!

He couldn't pass the hole due bad planification and build of the kind of bridge and was one the last truck tot ry to pass, the rest paased the hole already in that pic.....1 hrs. we had to pass it, my team (the other Jeep) blew the coil so he couldn't help me out in this one...

Some of my garbage used to try to pass with out succesfull....

All those trucks already passed the big hole!!

Feeling the bags of sund to help us to pass the hole by filling the hole

In this one we had to stop, and build those sticky threes with DucTape!!! the challenge was with time...

    The crow and me!!

Me at the right!!! with some friends and drivers...

    The other Team

Me talking, yes, I'm a singer lol!

          We got both models lol

Monteros are the export new brand models imported by the dealer, Pajero is the same model , used unit, but is imported directly from Japan with RHD Steering wheel, then here we change it to LHD

                        That looks like a blast.

Honestly, look around for a '40, they can be found cheap in good shape. Also, fixing it up is part of the fun, right?

                        later

                        wheeling is a blast.
