    Thats because no mere mortal can hope to work on an "engine of today". Whether it be by over-computerization, or by the fact that they are making it that way on purpose to make it even harder for independent repair shops to make any money, or by the fact that they are eliminating dipsticks for shits sake haha.

        What happens when your computer in your car fails and allows your car to run dangerously low on oil and you fuck some shit up...?

        I know there are other ways of telling if your low on oil but eliminating the dipstick all together???
