What do you people use to clean your cars windows?

For some reason (my dad always said it was the ink) using newspaper reduces the streaking you get with paper towels. I don't know why it works, it just does.

I have been using newspaper to clean mirrors and windows since I was a kid. Its an OLD trick that I never bothered to research into.

newspaper does work good. If you are worried about getting that nasty newspaper ink on your windows use COFFEE filters. They work great because the "lint" doesn't come out of the filter and on to the windows (you wouldn't want lint in your coffee).

I use Bon Ami window cleaner

I use Bon Ami window cleaner with a paper towel. And then follow with Rain-X with a microfiber towel. If I didn't follow with Rain-X then I'd wipe off the Bon Ami window cleaner with a microfiber towel.

Bon Ami sells for $0.99 at the $0.99 Store. Costco sells a decent microfiber towel. 10 for $8 or something like that.

I highly recommend using Rain-X after you clean (or a similar product). What a difference. It'll look like you're driving without a windshield.

Unlike paper towels and most cotton towels, newspaper does not leave behind lint, and the ink acts as a glass polish

The haze comes from deterioration of the plastic/vinyl pieces in your car. It will always be there. You just need to clean your windows more :-/

I dont like using newspaper because it gets your hand all black. Newspaper is an old school method. Now its the microfiber era :D
