My pre 80's nomenclature isn't the best, but I think all the Type 4's were the larger version

    Type 4:

and the Type 3's were the same style as the white one (single rear window as opposed to double on the type 4).

    Type 3:

The Square/Notch/Fast back came to the US. Variant was Brazil exclusive.
Not to contradict.. But the white one is defiantly a type 4, it looks like right (black one) is a good 'ol type 3 squareback. I just can't figure out what's up with the type 4 fastback looking ones.. I've seen pictures, but not sure of the origin.

    I'm a long time VW/Audi owner.
    Here's a few.

The Quattro is my most favorite car of all time.
This one has been a resto project for many years.
Here it is in White. I'll never part with it. No I won't lower it!

1994 S4, my first Audi. What a powerhouse. Gone but not forgotten.

I need some help, is anyone here from San Diego,CA? Looking for someone named Dean with black Jetta black wheels (5 spoke). I can repay with sweet ass parts. The reason I am looking for him is he jacked my son for parts(PSS9 coil over kit this weekend not cool, and he got a sweet deal too. I am not out to do something stupid just find him. And I know for a fact he will pay me the 100 bucks he ran off with (literally) once I am in his face. Not cool thanks for any help anyone can provide. Sorry I don't have more info oh year of his car is 2003 vr6 24valve. :curse: He also stated he sells windows and doors for homes young guy maybe no more than 24. Again thank you.
