Awesome! That's what I plan on doing when I get back from vaca - dropping it via cut springs and tucking the exhaust up :D. This Volvo is going to be the definition of ON A BUDGET.
Also, your jeep looks fun.

Dude that's crazy...take a look at my new beater 245:
I think I even mention in there how I intentionally bought an auto to prevent any temptation to make it handle/go fast. The shitty aspect is that I am realizing that the AT is going to be much more difficult to protect from the road.
Currently in the works are more low, exhaust simplification/lift and a full length skid w/ drivetrain lift.Leave a comment:

Yea, I purposely bought a non turbo automatic so that I wouldn't spend any money on it.
We'll see how long that lasts. I just found out all the 740 16g turbo stuff bolts right up...Leave a comment:

I want a Volvo 242GT, there's some guy here in town with one that's kinda raggedy, but it runs awesome.

But I have a '99 V70, so that gets my Volvo fix in. :)Leave a comment:

That's what I'm trying to avoid!
Nah, my MkI is going to be a budget special, in keeping with what I paid for it ($100). I'm trying to do everything as cheaply as possible, we're going to make, scrap and fab as much stuff as possible. We're going to custom fab my rear and possibly front strut braces, and whatever else we can possibly do to spend as little as possible.
Dropping copious amounts of money is what the BMW is for. :up:Leave a comment:
