First off, yes I went to audiworld.com but I just can't deal with their format. It's a pain in the ass and most of the info is for newer Audis anyways.
I know a few guys here have had Audi's like 4000's from the 80's and such.
Anyone familiar with the '89 Audi 80 (4cyl, FWD) or the '90 Audi 90 QUATTRO (20V 5cyl)? Both are 5spd and have had a lot of new parts installed recently.
I'm currently searching for a cheap "temporary" car (that I can still have fun with) to get me to work while I search for the right E30 to work on. I've been looking at other older BMWs and Audis. Both the Audi's are selling for great prices and I don't think I'd need the temporary car for more than a few months, maybe through winter if I end up getting the Quattro. So my question is, are there any trouble spots to look out for on these particular cars? I know that parts are more expensive than ones for E30s, but that's not really a concern considering I won't be owning either for long.
Thanks for any help ahead of time guys.
