Or else it is a barn-find.

E30 M3's don't come up for sale for $500 without absolutely ringing the sellers phone off the hook. Unless it is a barn-find, they know.
not always. while mine isnt this sweet of a find i got mine for 4700 after it was all said and done. after he sold it all kinds of people told him what it was worth so he tried to get me to buy a 91318is from him for 8k to make up for part of it. i said no thank you

but either way, posting about it before closing the deal is voodoo shit and against many cardinal rules dooming you to go home with an 85325e with a plywood wing and chrome 19's with an automatic

Bring cash just incase it's an M3...and buy first, ask questions later.

PS: Terrible idea to post here without it in your hands btw, if it is in fact legit...

    A) Posting about it before you've even seen the car and confirmed that it's an M3 and not a 325e with an ///M badge on the trunk = fail.

    B) Most people on R3v don't have the money to fix an E30 M3. These people saying "Wow, I'm so jealous, I wish I could find a $500 E30 M3" would end up with it just sitting in their parents' driveway rusting some more. Properly fixing an E30 M3 costs bookoo bucks.

The E30 M3 isn't the expensive part, the S14 is.

Still, hell of deal by any measure. Looking forward to seeing some shots of it.

Even if it's a total rust bucket it would be worth $500.
