If you have it towed to sta-weld in redmond and you bring a floor jack (make sure there is no oil in the pan) he should be able to weld it up for under ~70

yeah we'll see. Im thinking about buying one and installing to myself since it's fairly straight forward. Maybe from autobahnsport or a caryard.

i cracked mine 2 years ago

made a form from wood, lined with waxed paper ,and filled it with JB weld

JB welded the whole bottom of the pan

been like that for 2 years

              no leaks, no issues

PS the wood was just thee to give a form to the JB wled, was removed when it hardened.

Ive got a spare oilpan you can buy that I pulled off my car, it was cross threaded by the p.o. (cough cough sloan) and had one of those easy drain spindle pieces of crap on it.

If the crack isn't too bad, JB Weld.

I had something similar happen with my old 325es a few years back.

Hit a chunk of concrete on the highway. Pulled over, checked it out and no leak.

Drove a few miles home and checked again the best I could since it was night, raining, etc...

Next AM, puddle under the car.

Cleaned it, sanded it, JB Weld and it held up for the 2 years and 30k miles I put on the car after that.

For all I know, it's still running strong and not leaking a drop.
