    91 525i anything good

    i found a 525i with a m50 motor i have a 88 ix and i thought of doing the swap but is it really worth it or not also is there any on the 525 that cn bolt on to the ix such as 5 lug conv. or the shocks anything at all

    No, you will have to have many parts fabricated. It would be cheaper to buy a new awd 3er.

                  can i just use the m20 block thats in my car now and swap the head and intake computer etc or is the m50 block completely different

                      My car is a 6/91 build and came with the m50. So the transition began somewhere near mid year.

                      OP, if you can get it cheap, buy it and part it out. The oil pan, pump, and pickup are worth a couple hundred bucks alone...
