Boom
I tried to take the pics close up to show how they work. I remember when i wanted to research these there is practically no material on them whatsoever. as you can so the wiper motor mounts onto the Headlight assembly via two hex nuts. the motor stalk goes through the euro grills and out the front where the wipers go on, another hex nut is tightened, and the cap is flipped down. I have only installed the motors and wipers themselves so far. It got dark outside so i figure this Sunday i will be able to wire everything up to work. Once i have it working I will video tape it and put it on youtube because nobody has ever seen these actually work! (or at least most people haven't)
Yes i know my headlight wiring is VERY messy. When i eventually get my hella or bosch smiley's (as opposed to my depos) i will rewire everything neatly.
That little ovalish looking thing below the headlight is the motor
When i got my depo smiley's they came with really nice chrome rings. However when i ordered the headlamp cleaning system i was given 4 chrome rings with stoppers. They are VERY dirty with paint chipping. Do you think i could pay somebody to have them chrome dipped or what? i don't want to put countless hours into polishing them.

Maybe paint the trim rings black? That would probably look acceptable - and save a lot of time trying to polish them!
And, out of curiousity - where does one find wiper blade refills for these things??-Geno
