Yes, there are. You need the car to have suspension for them to pick it up, though.

both of you are wrong. i have done this 2x now.

In SF, none of the yards want any car older than 1995, PERIOD. you have to pay a towing company to take the car out of the city to a wrecking yard. the car doesn't need suspension either, they can put it up on car dollys. you will however need to pay about $200 for the service.

          Oh its different in Sf?

I called the local picknpull here and they said they'd give me 10 bucks for my car AND they would take it away.

Back in the day I used to part cars with my dad at his shop and leave them beside the road as bare shells. People would eventually stop by and inquire about buying them for scrap metal.

We had a scrap metal place right up the street, so they'd haul them less than a mile and make all of the money. They were happy to pay $250-400 for the shells.

Sawzall/torch is your friend, cut that bitch up. Make it small enough for you to manage loading and hauling it in for scrap.

Sounds bad cause, from the looks of it, the rear clip is in decent shape.

like it was said before, chop it up into manageable pieces and take it in fro scrap or even dump the pieces in dumpsters.

                  no big deal.

BTW did you get the PM about your lights?

i don't want to sell the wheels because i want to put them on my next car. sorry.
i have many other parts though. lots of perfect seats and interior parts and 2 premium speakers that i would be willing to sell.

Pay my diesel and toll and I'll take care of it for you, probably won't be much left when you are done... figure $20, a little more if it has non recycalable stuff left (seats, plastics, general junk) I throw that in a 10 yard trailer and go to the dump from time to time.

If steel was still at $300 a ton I'd do it for free, but last trip I got jack for my metal :hitler:

This place is like catholic school, 2/3 of the students smoke weed on a daily basis, but the faculty seems to convince the outside world that drugs are just in the other schools, the resident pot dealer thinks he's cool because he has the originality to call anyone he doesn't like a homosexual, and most of the little children follow him like sheep, then there's the few with brains, you hardly ever hear from them, perhaps don't even know they exist, but they get all the sh!t done.
