    What is this?

Finally had a talk with my friends neighbor about the e30 in his drive way. Sadly he said it wasn't for sale since he wants to restore it. What was odd was that it didn't look like a regular e30 or a regular Cabby. From what he knows he says that it is a euro 320i. Basically that is all he knows about the car lol. It has no VIN number so I wasn't able to Carfax it.

He says it is Euro but I'm not 100% sure it is.

TC baur was the convertible specialist hired/contracted before BMW started doin' them at BMW themselves.

EuroSpec E30 for sure, shame about the stripes, though.

Grey-market TC Baur e30 vert. It was federalized (see: US grills, side markers, I bet there are reinforcement bars inside those bumpers).

Sadly, the M20B20 is not a very powerful motor. Did you get a peek inside?

Sadly no. I asked the guy, but he said his son had the keys to the car. I was wondering what was up with the US stuff on a euro car.

If you've never seen it before, wouldn't that make it rare?

It isn't worth anything Well, hardly more than a normal e30 at least. Sure it's rare, doesn't mean anyone wants it. Those things look awful.
