So is that chrysler place completed abandoned? LIke you could bust in there and no one would know? or do they still have security or cameras or something.

Well according to Wikipedia, it was purchased from Volvo by Chrysler in 2007.

It looks like Harley has an agreemant to use it as well...

You're confusing things. That article is talking about Yucca, AZ. Not the now abandoned Proving Grounds in Wittman.

                        In otherwords, Yucca =/= Wittman.

I'm just posting what I found on Wiki. But thank you, I will sleep much better tonight knowing which one is closed and which one is open.

I'm just trying to clarify the thread where there's inaccuracies.

And no, that's not what the Wiki article says.

                              Wittmann proving grounds:

do you have any more aerial shots? there is a drag strip/motor sport park there called Speed world (they shot a bunch of episodes of Pinks there).

other than that, there really isn't much in Wittmann

                                no Wittmann = Yucca
Yucca is further south much further. The ground were sold this year to the city of Surprise they want to build a shopping mall there. I would really hate to see that happen. I like to see if they would open it for club racing and such they could even bring in Nascar the track is big enough. The Chrysler ground have never been owned by Volvo, Volvo's proving grounds are just up the street and Toyota is due west about 10 miles to the gate. I do live in Wittmann been out here 8 years. There are no no trespassing signs up that I could see but as for going in there was the matter of that very big gate. I am going to go to the City of Surprise and ask to go take more pics from the inside.
