      +1 million

If you track your stock M20 with Rcomps, you will spin a bearing due to oil starvation if youre pushing hard enough imo. I know Im not the only one that has experienced this.

Though I did rebuild the M20, I am now upgrading to a 24v. I would most certainly buy a baffle for the M50 pan. I suggested this to TRM Matt but he believes they arent necessary. I respectfully disagree as I dont ever want to hear that sound ever again.

Something to consider in the design phase. I think the problem is two fold. Certainly cornering forces, but also extreme braking forces, where all the oil is thrown into the timing cover.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

how about solving this with a windage tray like VW did?

maybe easier and cheaper than redesigning a whole oil pan

i know, but this goes accross the entire pan and would address the sloshing of oil into the timing cover issue also
