To paint the kidneys, or not?

i have dark wheels tho so...

but i say black them out and have a chrome set around like some one said

Take some black electrical tape, tape over the kidney's so their all black and walk a few yards away and you can see if you like it or not. That's what I did. I think it all depends on the car and the owner for whether you like it or not.

If I were you I'd go to the local Kragen's and pick up a can or two of Duplicor Trim Black. Then paint the chrome sections of the DBs, kidneys, and window trim with it. Black kidneys alone look kind of awkward on cars with everything else chrome. I still have to finish my window trim.

i think black grills on sterlingsilber cars look pretty good.... but i dont think ill black out my grills anytime soon just cuz
