    side moulding

    when repainting the side mouldings, i don't want to shadowline the chrome part, how would i go about removing the chrome part to paint the rubber and then re-installing it? no info in the bently i already checked.

    tape them off. you will probably bend them when you try to remove them.

      why don't you try just taping the chrome part and leave the black part exposed. :)

              but when i tape them off, if i use regular blue painters tape it usually leaks through. i think im just gonna buy new mouldings because im probably just gonna end up ruining them anyways.

                use the green thin tape you can get at an auto parts store for painting.
