since you were hit on private property you could still get screwed.
in AZ the police will not go onto private property to issues a ticket in a "minor collision" other than forcing the woman to give you her insurance and admit to causing the damage, did they issue her a ticket?

if not you could be in for a fight with her company, in AZ they like to pull a "dutch treat" meaning you are both at fault for being in the parking lot......WTF?????? so you pay for the damages to my car and i will pay for the damages to yours. i found out about this the hard way when some fucking kid hit me as i was backing out of a space at a strip mall by my house. his company (progressive) never even took a statement from me. i end up paying to fix my won car out of my pocket minor damage, then fighting for 6 months to get reimbursed by progressive. my insurance paid to have the whole side of his 1983 Eldorado fixed and he fucking hit me!

just be aware and look into it so you don't get fucked

youre going to report this to insurance? its a hit and run, and i can only assume that you dont have full coverage on the car. only thing they will do is raise your rates

EDIT: didnt read..... but that would of been funny

I bet the insurance company gives you less than $500 for that. If it wasn't a salvage title before it definitely is now..

From the sounds of it to me... its a done deal...i just have to stop typing, walk out my door..and go pick up my new car
