They already run Porsche wheels. But Porsche wheels are usually pretty damn cool.

Yup, they used to own something like 35-40% of Volkswagen and now they're involvement has just gone above the 50% mark.

It's all because of that fucking Routan POS. :D

Maybe the beetle will get it's engine back on the correct end, so I can see some modern day beetle wheelies.

And that POS sub-beetle compact planned for south america doesn't count.

Porsche Cayenne and VW Touareg share the same floor - it's been happening for some time now.

Remember that VAG (VW Audi Group) is a major force in Europe - All of their cars have something in common (VW Audi Seat Skoda - same parts, engines etc, Porsche - only floor so far).

Don't forget they own Lamborghini/Bentley/Bugatti too. Wonder what it'll be called now. Still VAG?

VW is building a new manufacturing plant in Chattanooga TN with groundbreaking to be in March '09. Should bring lots of jobs to this area.

Yeah they do. I think it will always be VAG since Volkswagen and Audi are two of the larger companies in the aforementioned group and they share a lot of parts between each other. Porsche doesn't share many parts/vehicles between Volkswagen or Audi, with the exception of the Touareg/Cayenne/Q7.

They also own a substantial portion of Scania, something like 67% IIRC.
