    E30 wins EuroTuner Shootout

...albeit with a 4.4 V8 swap and only in the drag competition RWD class.

Also it was ranked as best in RWD class (it beat one other competitor in this class, which was a 2008 135i).

For those of you who weren't given a subscription for their birthday by their wonderful fiances, here are the rankings:

    Out of 8 cars:
    -3rd place Dyno Comp w/ 425.87 whp, 410.88 lb-ft (winner was 807.11 whp, 524.47 lb-ft)
    -4th place Time Attack @ 1:29.552 (winner was 1.28.171)
-2nd place overall 1/8 mile @ 8.064 secs (winner was AWD turbo R32 with a time of 7.531)

    Pics:

Writeup on the 325i and 135i:

    About fucking time:

The competition (how did that get in there?!):

The 135i that calls to me in my dreams:

thinking the same thing. maybe 1/8th mile which would be about 12.5 in the 1/4

Wow "2nd place overall 1/4 mile @ 8.064 secs" ? So is this the current e30 1/4 mile record now in US? Is there a video somewhere of this?

I'd have to check eurotuner.com or the groma website. I'm sure somewhere out there is a video of this car.

Edit: My mistake it is a 1/8 run, not 1/4.
