    For sure.

What the hell happened to BMW? I mean, in general.

Button did not luck into this win, by any means. He pushed and pushed and pushed. It helps to have a laptop with live timing near by while watching. Button was very consistent and pushed hard while other guys were pitting.
Barrichello was driving quite well too I thought. I understand why they tried the 3 stop strategy, but it might have worked better if they weren't going to have run the Prime tire at the end.

That one shot of Piquet using the KERS pulling away from Webber was incredible. If he hadn't been punted in quali (WTF was Sutil doing?) I think he would have been fighting for a podium like his teammate.

On a related note, I'm a huge Vettel fan, but is it me or he is starting to get a bit more arrogant/cocky in his interviews?

Yeah, right before Rubins second stop [may of been third] he ran a few 1:34.9XX laps while everyone was running in the 1:35.5 and above. It was pretty fun watching him catch up to the back of Hamilton/Vettel/Truli. Just wish he would of had enough time to try and fight with those guys.

I dont totally fault Sutil in the Q1 block. It looks like he was suprised that Webber was as close as he was, moved out of the way but Webber chose to swing to the right, which only made things worse.

Vettel is just getting used to the spotlight. Seems like hes getting [or trying to] more friendly with the other drivers. Like when he nudged Button, and was given the cold shoulder.

No more arrogant or cocky than Button, I'd say.

Both Jenson and Vettel thank the team first and are very gracious after a win. I don't see how that is arrogant. They are just having fun while at the top.
As for Button giving Vettel the cold shoulder....I wish they had shown this little part during the interview: Jenson said "It was really hot. All the boxes around my seat were burning. It's tough being a Formula One racing driver!

"I burnt the top of my left buttock on an electrical box. It's a little bit burnt. Hopefully we can solve that issue."

Sebastian Vettel, who finished second, then reached over to consolingly rub Button's shoulder to which he was told: "I'll get you stroking it (the buttock) later Sebastien, don't worry."

Vettel turned two shades of red!

I'm talking to BMW in F1, period. They can't seem to do anything right the last couple of years.

But yeah, that race was seriously boring. I'm not discrediting good driving or anything, but it didn't hold my attention at all. I fell asleep halfway through it. Granted, I was watching it at 11 pm.

They won a race last year, had a number of podium finishes and were pretty much "the best of the rest". This year the rest caught up with them.

Just watched Qualy and Race back to back.... I liked this race more so than the previous couple races. Nice to see Toyota also fight up front to make it interesting, and nice to see Ferrari pick up a couple points as well.

I like the race overall, there was plenty of overtaking at the beginning but it petered out towards the end. Vettel and Jarno mutually F'ed each other in the A hahaha. Don't know why Toyota decided it was smart to put Jarno on his longest stint in the middle on the worse tire. Strategy is what killed Toyota this race.

The two days leading up to the race were much cooler than race day. Most teams were going to run the harder tire because it was working better in the cooler temps [not graining like the soft] so Toyoyo stuck to their plan while most everyone else looked at the data and ran the harder as the option tire.

McMerc 3 race ban... suspended? So they were going to be out for three races but the FIA was having a good day.

                            EDIT:

That was given before i read that article over, i thought they were suspended. Now ive got my panties in a bunch. jerk FIA

Unbelievable, absolutely unbelievable. All of this occuring right when Daimler AG is considering pulling McMerc out of Formula One. This may very well be the nail in the coffin, and I'm sure the FIA will try to drag this on for as long as they can, I wouldn't be at all surprised if McMerc is handed a hefty (completely unnecessary) fine for this too. They made a mistake, but this whole ordeal has been blown way out of proportion.

So is this just like a warning? I don't really understand the suspended part.
