The plot thickens....I originally thought Max would back down, but it seems like he is so far gone that he may not.

wow, he's really out to prove what a past-it socialist he is. There simply *IS* no "fairness" in racing... and there never shall be, for racing is competition! gasp! capitalising upon different advantages, different interpretations of the same rulebook, to the end of different (better!) outcomes.
If it were up to Max, all 20-odd cars would finish within 1 second of each other. Well too bad for you, Max, nobody likes indycar, and all of the NASCAR fans are already busy on Sunday.
enough toying around and socially-engineering for a so-called "desired" outcome... let the cars race each other, let the drivers get rowdy, and unclench your butthole.
IMO, of course. nobody gets my goat like Mosley.

Looks like Bernie has come around, as usual, we just need Max to die and all will be right in the world.
I don't think much will be affected by the cost-caps in terms of who wins races, but it will mean more teams can get in and shorten the gap between 1st and last hopefully. I just say that because the top teams still have the top people and can afford to pay them, and I am pretty sure salaries are not included in the cost-caps. So Adrian Newey can keep on turning out race winning cars unaffected while Force India wonders WTF aerodynamics are.

Hmmm, watched practice last night, not sure what I think. The track dropped so much time from P1 to P2 then from the beginning to end of the session. So many guys were swapping fast laps it seemed like.
Kubica's engine went Kaboom! That was kinda funny.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

KERS came on (under regeneration) coming down to mirabeau, changing the brake bias from its usual 56% front or so to something else, the ass stepped out, he tried to correct, and lost the left rear wheel.
Edit: Hamilton said he made the mistake, not the car. He's actually in q16.

The differences between Q2 and Q3 times make it hard to estimate fuel loads. I mean Button was actually faster in Q3, so who knows if he has much fuel at all or was just taking it "easy" in Q2. Vettel seems to be sitting the best fuel load wise in the top 2 rows, but Kimi has KERS and should be able to jump the Brit and take 1st quickly. Tomorrow is hopefully as exciting as Monaco was last year with Hamilton driving around on 3 tires!

Kimi and Button duelled over their last flying laps, each setting fastest sectors, exciting stuff, only 0.025 in it!
Button 1:14.902
Kimi +0.025
Rubens +0.175
Vettel +0.369
Massa +0.535
Rosberg +0.553
Koval +0.614
Webber +0.751
Alonso +1.107
Nakajima +2.442
Vettel was light on fuel, Nakajima went heavy, both Ferraris are heavy on fuel also (apparently), Alonso was just slow, unsure of his fuel strategy, Brawns were just quick, so probably a normal fuel load.
