Sauber-Qadbak has the "14th" slot on the grid. For now, they are first reserve if any other team drops out. Though there are efforts to add a 14th team.

If Nick can get a sure thing ride with an established team (not USF1, Manor, Campos, etc.) then I think he'd jump on it, unless Sauber is confirmed to be racing.

You'd be surprised. Rubens is much of a joke in Brazil.

The same way you say someone can give a "mickey mouse excuse" or a "mickey mouse product", we use his name on the same way. He's always in the media with some random excuse as to why he lost. The man is fully incapable of just saying "I didn't run a good race today"

I mean, the man has been in a Formula 1 for more than 15 years! If you analyze that in regular human time, the man precedes the invention of the wheel. And how many career victories does he have?

I guess it would be nice to see a Brazilian take the Brazil GP, and I'm not going to say Rubens hasn't tried. However, don't think for a second Brazilians wouldn't prefer to see Massa or even Piquet Jr. (if he was still around) up on the podium before Rubens.

      My 2 cents

well, thats the reason for saying id like to see him win. he has had good showings, almost won for Ferrari until a mechanical failure a number of years ago. Its not that he is a bad driver [wouldnt of had a ride for 15 years if he were] as much as he has had horrid luck in front of his countrymen.

And if you analyze that in dog time he would have been working for well over 100 years!

Also you have Japan in his first year as well as China, and his win at Monza last year in a Toro Rosso in the wet. The kid ist Der Regenmeister. But yes, Lewis is ONE of the best in wet conditions. I don't know if it is his strategy or what but Heidfeld always seems to benefit from rain as well.

I wonder how bad off Brawn will be next year though, I mean they won't have the defuser advantage to help them like they did at the beginning of this year when they were dominant. It also seems they haven't been able to keep up with development as well as the other teams so I would say most of their strength this year comes from the fact that they wrote off last year and worked so much longer on this year's car than the other teams. Next year they will not have the same advantage and I wouldn't be surprised to see them around where Toyota is this year come next season.
You mean when he rear-ended Webber and took them both out of the race?

I'm a huge Vettel fan, don't get me wrong, but I don't think he is THE BEST in wet weather. I still think LH is THE BEST.

I like Hamilton, I think he is a great driver and this season has shown he is learning how to setup a car. He benefited greatly his first year from Alonso but this year he has shown he can help develop a car. I thought Hamilton was the best wet weather driver until Vettel schooled him in Brazil. Wet weather shows who has the best feel for a car, an area Massa has realy improved in. I remember last year, or 2 years ago Massa he spun like 5 time at Monaco I want to say..

I hope Kubica does well at Renault as he is my favorite driver. I love how people say he bitches,,, if someone asks how the car is? and its shit, i see nothing wrong with saying so. All he does is tell the truth if you ask me.

That whole incident was Lewis Hamilton's fault though hahahaha, everyone knows that.

Most ludicrous rumor of driver changes I have seen, yet the one I would probably like the most(no disrespect to Webber) http://www.planetf1.com/story/0,1895...618510,00.html

Agreed. A smaller team like RB might motivate him to perform up to his potential. Kimi as the underdog could be a very feisty hound.

I agree, I mean he hasn't started achieving for Ferrari this year until well after the car was competitive at all, obviously he just needs a little motivation which I can understand.

The only thing that motivates Kimi is a good car. Of course he'll also need to feel like driving that particular day, be fond of the circuit, and half a dozen other things; otherwise he's content with a 5th or 6th and fastest lap.

Kimi may end up being the odd man out. He could end up in a nonfactory ride.
