Went on sale in the US around the first of the year. And yes I have seen about 40 at one place. The Elise club gathers at Bitburg Flugplatz for practice one the track. But they have the correct engine not the Japanese engine we get.

It's a Lotus Elise.

I saw one at the LeMans race in Portland a few months ago. They're just what you would expect any Lotus to be (very lightweight).

True but you can get the Exige engine that's anywhere from 179 to 222 hp levels. Besides I like the Exige much more than the silly roadster.
