It's not bad for an off-the-shelf brand. But if your clearcoat is gone or if your paint is old, then don't even bother.

i would say that, there is no such thing as "quick" detail.

My paint is in great shape aside from some two small areas where the clearcoat is chipping.
I think I'm going to take it back.

It's more like something to use while wiping down your car, not a polish or anything.

Yeah, its used to wipe of finger/hand prints etc at shows and shit. Its not used as a wax or polish.

I tried it on my already clean car and it left it looking shotty.

              Just wondering.

Did you completely wipe it off with a clean towel?
                Is your car waxed?

I use it, works fine for me.

I use the quick detailer to get bird crap and such off my car. My parking lot at school is right next to construction, and when it's windy, it blows dust onto all the cars in the parking lot. I use the QD to get rid of the stuff without having to reel out the hose and towel it dry.

Really the stuff is good if you're in a hurry. Thus the name QUICK detailer.

Its mean to be sprayed on - spread over the area lightly - then buff like a bitch untill it goes nice and shiney. Used to do it all the time when I worked in a Range Rover dealership.

i use it fairly regularly between washings...black cars
can look pretty bad a couple of days after a detail...
this stuff'll get through the next week...

in my opinion, Griots Speed Shine is better (although
i wouldn't recommend any other Griots products)

griots rawks! meguiars kwik detailer isnt as kwik as Griots. and the meguiars stuff is really watery. thats probably why it isnt as easy to wipe away. the Griots stuff smells good too
