I've listened to a lot of mufflers/exhaust systems on here and youtube and I'm actually glad there isn't one that sounds the best. Otherwise, everyone would rock it. Trying to create your own sound is half the fun.
maybe post the Part number when you get a chance and where you got it from? thanks

remus is much too quiet. :)

have you looked at scorpions? or even tri flows? both sound great and are supposed to have nice build quality.

For us older more mature crowd, we like something that doesn't drone as much... ;)

Eisenmann does make an exhaust for an e30.

But no matter what you say, there is no better exhaust on an M20 than a GT3071R or a GT2871R. :D Put whatever pipe you'd like in the back and it'll still sound sick :p

I like the way the Magnaflows sound, I just wish they weren't so loud. I'm in the process of attempting to modify a MCS exhaust to work in-line with the magnaflow, so we'll se how that goes...

Eisenmann (apparently) with no load on it:

A good sounding exhaust for an E30? S38B36.

                          :D

j/k, for the money the Magnaflow 14815 is a great candidate, but it drones like a mother on the highway (or anywhere else for that matter unless you really have your foot into it.) I think for me, it will probably end up being a mix of IE long-tube headers, some custom fabrication work for the midsection, remove the catalytic converter, and either my current Magnaflow or the IE stainless steel muffler.

If anyone has that exact setup, I'd love to hear a sound clip of it.
