Tool kit pieces, without a doubt. That and non-rusty E30's.

Have you ever researched the cost of tool kit pieces at the dealer? Seriously... it probably wouldnt run more than $50 if you have a discount.

          Headlamp Vertical Aim

ALL of them are irrepairable by pretty much everyone and ones that do work are more expensive than diamonds

No kidding. I'm talking about the NLA stuff (the red-handled tools, the green-handled tools, the cloth, etc.) the stuff that fetches $3-400 for a complete set. Unless you have a source I am not aware of, it is very difficult to source those kinds of parts.

Edit: Another difficult part to source are some of the stickers in engine bay. The ones at the dealer are usually different in some way or are a completely different reproduction altogether.

Why, are you thinking about getting into reproducing reproductions?

According to my upholstery/top guy it's impossible to find BMW OEM E30 Convertible tops. Articulating arms, switches, and motors can still be sourced but not the complete fabric top itself. Aftermarket tops have cloth quality problems and fit disturbance.

Really nice seats are tough to find.

Especially if you're a purist who owns a sedan and wants sedan only seats. :???:

Blunt can get you a OEM cloth top. IIRC

Uncracked dashes seem few and far between. Moonroofs are definitely up there as well.
