    c3 coilover help

Hey i currently am in the process of installing my c3 coilover kit and i have my whole front end out because I'm replacing control arms/bushings/lots of other stuff. I have a few questions for some of you who have done this.

1.When i install the konis and the the spacer provided and screw down the "cap" that holds the strut insert in there is about a half inch of play. Is this ok? should i add a bigger spacer to make it sit flush?

2.The bolt that holds on the rotor is stripped whats the best way to remove it? I was thinking about grinding a slit so i could use a screwdriver?

    3. Whats the easiest order to put the front end together? or should i put it all together first and try to get it in there?

Thanks in advance any help would be greatly appreciated I'm gonna try to get this done by the end of the weekend.

    1. there shouldn't be any play. Did you maybe get a spacer for a shortened strut housing? I would space it up some more.

    2. Get a big drill bit and drill down enough so the head breaks off. If you have bolt extractors, use that.

    3. I would put the control arms on first then the struts, but it really doesn't matter.

Good luck, are you doing this in URI?
