Red decals. He used to own Weber BMW of Fresno and retired when my aunt died of cancer. He still knows lots of people and imports cars ever now and then. He also has a 2007 M3, 1973 2002tii with a S14 in it and a 1969 2002 pick up. He is the ultimate description of a Bimmer Nut.

This is slightly different, but I was hanging out at what used to be E.R.T(If anyone doesn't remember, they where huge in the BMW scene back in the 90's) one night. And the owner is a Dupont family member, and he has pretty nice car collection. He ordered a 996 GT3 and all the parts from Porsche to make it a RS. Once at the dealer in the country, they put it all together, and Porsche gave him a 1 of 1 vin. I thought that was as close as you could get to a real street legal 996 RS.

        Pics:

You could eat of this M. It's a US spec, completely converted to Euro Spec.

I have a lot more pics, I just can't find them. I'll keep looking though.

Stock: Lotus Elise. Not the fastest, but the best. Just "spoke" to me.

Modified: SCCA National championship winning CSP Miata. Telepathic is the only way to describe that car.

No, it deff could have been real. For someone with connections, I could very well see it making it's way into the country. And I know there where a handful that did make it, just in my particular case, I know that's as close as he could get. Though I don't think he cared, he is just a wealthy guy that wants what he wants, and i'm sure that's how it got done.

i haven't driven too many cars, but the fastest i have driven was probably an slk55. Z3M roadsters are pretty fun too. looks like i need to make some richer friends. or just make some more money.

an original LS6 1970 Chevelle with Nitrous and a 4 speed-- had a set of cheater slicks too. I have never been in a car that has just scared the crap out of me in straight line acceleration.---
except maybe my uncles dragster when I was about 7-- he took me for a ride around the Chicago suburbs-- I swear It seemed so fast that everything was just a blur

A 400hp Factory 5 roadster was the most raw car Ive driven around a track. I have butterflies thinking about it.

An 05 STI in the snow/ice was unreal. Cant remember having so much fun.

An old friend has an 8 second Nova that Ive never actually driven, but a passenger seat pass was enough.

I work across from Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville, They have a GT3 RS in their showroom along with a Le Mans winning race car (dont know the model, but definitely from the 60's) and a Hurley Haywood Daytona winning 911. they are always changing it to. Mr Brumos has a SERIOUS collection, see alot of his stuff at the Amelia Island Concourse d' Elegance. Lots of 50's-60's European exotics all with under 10k on the odometer.

drove a saleen s351 once, had alot of power. not quite as connected as the e30. haha.

It's cool/refreshing to see someone with that kind of money and taste still rocking a lowly E30 M3, very cool.
