15k isnt even close to covering whats been spent on that car. I bet theres more than that in the motor alone. Its a fully prepped turnkey racecar with a nice interior in it for the street. Its not meant to be marketed to r3v kiddies who haggle on 20$ parts.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

Would you pay 60k for it?

I'd pay 42.5k for it, without the wing, and if I had the funds, maybe 45-47k, but after that.... (I do know the engine/work has gotta be about 17-25k right?)

I'd take the LS6 powered M3 that was posted here the other day over this one, and at half the cost...

No. Not when you can get a well prepped IP e36 M3 for a little more than half that price and be just as quick. Thats if you were looking for a racecar. If youre looking at it as a street car, well fuck, I can think of a crapload of cars Id rather have for 60k. 993turbo and CLK63 are the first that spring to mind.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.

The wheels look like they were chosen before the car, but otherwise I am mighty impressed at how clean that garage is, would make any project look mental tbh.

                    I do like my E30 M3's too.

[edit] Any gen on what looks to be boost pipes built into the inner wings/chassis legs?

+1. Frank Fahey is out of his mind. $65K will buy you a Porsche 996GT3, 996TT or 997S(with money left over) which offer (let's see) better engines, better handling, better steering, better looks, better brakes, better......you get the idea.

                      I wouldn't buy that car for $25K.

I seem to recall this guy and that M1 in a issue of Performance BMW a couple of years ago I think.
