    max offset for e30

    Hi Sifus,
appreciate if any of you could advice....
I am interested to buy this 16' BBS RS 7j ET33 and the other one 15' 7j et34......

can both fit my E30 320i without widening the arch?
hope to get fast reply from you sifus out there.......

    BBS RS makes me mad......

You have it backwards. The higher offset will push the wheel towards the car, not outward. I would space both of those wheels 10mm to get an effective 13 or 14mm offset.

It's gonna take a 15-20mm spacer for those ETs

ooowwww.....i tot it gonna hurt my arch if higher ET.....damn...somebody really tot me wrongly.....
now if i understand correctly....the rim (et34) will be pushed inside.....so the spacer wud help to pull the rim back outwards....?
and without spacer it can still fit but wud look ugly....m i rite?

both of those offsets will fit without spacers but will look silly. get spacers and they will look good.

Correct, but you will need at least a 5-10mm spacer in the front as the rim will probably hit the strut. The rears usually need a spacer because it will look awkward if they are too far in the wheel well.

The 15" will not fit without spacers. If it does, it'll be by the slightest of margins. The 16" should fit without spacers, but as many said, it will sit too far in.

Those BBSs you are looking at were most likely designed to be in a VW or a Mazda Miata.

Which bring up another thing to watch for...

4x100 BMW hubs are for 57.1 center-hub wheels, VWs are ok but Mazda and Honda, etc. are 56.1 and would need to be machined to work unless the rims are setup to use hub rings.

It is the size of the hole in the center of the rim, for hubcentric rims ride on a step on the hub to center the wheel and take the load.
