The select few who buy those will continue to do so. That is a market niche that is not effected as those are complete custom one offs made from commercial trucks that Ford produces and bought by people who have money.

yeah was gonna say thats on a 650 or 750 chassis. No red neck I know or have ever seen could afford that rig. I know guys that DD their pulling rigs that are 450 or 550 and a few guys that have GMC/Chevy Kodiak's. When you have a big trailer you need a big truck, some of the 5th wheel campers and big horse trailers are too heavy for just a 1 ton with out bags and upgraded springs, so some guys spend a bit more and go up to a medium duty truck more for the bigger breaks and bigger axles and tires as when you go up to medium duty you get 19 1/2 inch heavy truck wheels. Mileage is prolly in the 11-14 range long as it dose not have the 4:56 rear gear especially with CAT power.

Just cuz you have no need for a bigger truck dose not mean that others dont, all though the one the pic is more of a show rig but by looking at that hitch plate I bet he has a good sized wagon to go with it. .
