I still have my window sticker, and my 1991 BMW 318is cost $22,600 with metallic paint options, not including dealer tax, title, processing, and shipping fees.

It came in on the Jersey shore...hah.

But to answer your question, I dunno where you could look it up, I just happen to have my window sticker, so I hope that helps a bit.

go to fred kim's website... strictlyeta.net search around a bit, the prices are up there for just about every model i beleive. My car was around 23500 out the door If im correct. But of course my dad leased it. Ironic thing was that was in 1986, and in 1995 he paid 25000 for his 318ti.

            Yuppies. :P

More importantly, how much is that in Today's dollars? 22K doesn't sound like that much....but what's inflation?

I had the window sticker from my '84 318i...

It was something in the $16K's, from Jake Sweeney BMW, Tri-County Ohio.

I had a Rabbit from the same era and sticker on it was in the $9K's...

Back in the day when VW was still maintaining their original purpose. Cheap reliable cars. ;)

I have the window sticker, 21,700.

Some dealership in VA. The "Passport" logo was still on the rear when I got it, and it was the first thing to go.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

My car was over $40k CAD back in the day, still have all my pop's original paperwork. I still have every original brochure, price listing for ALL BMW's, color charts, etc. I should really scan them one day.

Passport is actually in Maryland, I got my Ti from there.

Window sticker on my 'is says 28.9.

Go here http://www.strictlyeta.net/technical...fications.html, find your price, then go here http://www.westegg.com/inflation/ and enter it to find out the price in today's dollars. My car would have been $36,571.43 if I bought it new today.

depreciation kicks ass.....since the majority of us may have paid less than 1/10 that. At least I did......
