The outer reflector and added crosshairs to the high beams. Not diminishing the light output.

I havent had any time anymore to do them-- but I have been selling the crosshairs though. I was selling them for 325 shipped with euro grills and all the connectors and stuff.--- 100 dollars for the work including the crosshairs too- since euro smilies go for 225 these days.
so, if someone is going to do them for 100 dollars- they are giving you a great deal!!!!!! crosshairs and shipping of the lights cost a good 50, then a "good" glue is atleast 10 dollars a tube, and if he breaks a lens, he is going to really lose out finding lens to replace it.
I purchased a set from Mike and they are awesome. They look OEM and have great light output. Mike does a great job on these and is experienced with the way to remove the lenses properly and what to use to get the smoked coating right and then what glue to use to correctly seal the lenses back up. What good is a pair of smoked lights that allow water and condensation to gather after the first light rain or a wash?
PM him for a set and he may be able to hook you up.
to each his own but i like form to follow function. my bare hella e-codes look just fine to me. the other week i saw a mustank on the freeway with its taillights so smoked you could barely see that they were on. admittedly this was in daylight but how stupid do you have to be to "smoke" your taillights to the point where you cant tell if they are on, even in daylight. WHEN that idiot is rear-ended, i hope i am there to watch and laff...
smoked hellas have the same light output as clear hellas.. the lenses aren't smoked.

just get a couple cans of flat black spray paint and do a couple light coats. this works best if you do it to some sealed beams, preferrably 20 year old ones where most of the reflective coating has come off.
