    Sparco STEEL seats - opinions

    Anyone tried these?

I'm currently using JAMEX seats, and i'm happy with them, but getting in the back of the car is difficult as they fold only to upright position... And since i sometimes need the back seat, I want to get something meeting the following requirements:

    1. fully folding forward
    2. light
    3. red ;)
    4. well holding the driver
    5. looking nice ;)
    6. no more than 300USD

    So I found these:

My concern is, do they hold well - seem really... flat...

And yes - they come in red ;)

If any of you has got anything interesting to say about them - please do.

The bolsters dont look like they would hold you very much in cornering. They look smaller than even our sport seats do, with a slight exception for the ones on the back.

But it is Sparco, so the seat will probably not break itself to pieces like the lower end seats I've seen.

Yeah - that's what I was thinking, but the seller here sais once you sit in them, they work like some sort of "cushion" and you sit deeper than it would appear just by looking at them...

I realy hope for some "real life" opinions - I need to feel strong about spending 600USD...

Never seen those sparcos before but my Torinos are really comfortable and suportive. They only fold slightly past 90 though so back seat access is very limited.

So I did some searching, and found that seat popular among MX-5 owners in UK. They say it's great, but they mostly glorify the size - not every seat will fit in Miata.

Have to meet with the dealer to sit in one - Sparco folded seat for less than 300USD - too good to be true.
