Awesome thread. I was actually drawn to E30's because of 510's. Found it near impossible to find a clean one I could afford so I opted for it's German look-a-like. Am not disappointed though.

You know whats sort of ironic about that? E30 headlights are a common upgrade for the 510. They are the same size and fit quite nicely.

Its a wide body IMSA body kit. I never thought about The Porsche Aspect, but now that you mention it, yeah I see it. No, its not for everyone.

Hey Will, not to be a pain in the ass but I would love to see that car in person sometime, loooks really cool.

Heck, I'll take you for a spin in it. I'm pulling the motor and transmission to fix a minor issue with the transmission this weekend, but I plan to have it race ready again by August 5th. I'll be AutoXing down in Marina (just north of Monterey) the first and 3rd weekend of August, then Sept 8th I'll be instructing at an autoX school/test day at Sears Point, then the following week, I'll be back down in Marina. I'll have it out and about on a regular basis as soon as I get the transmission sorted out. If you can make it to any of the races, I'd be happy to give you a ride, or if you want to head up this way one day I'll take you for a spin.
