    She's still got it!!

5am just got home from a late night date. took 495 around from Arlington to College Park. No Cops on the road so I opened her up. Cut her off around 110mph. Completely stock 87 325i with over 270k. She still running strong, god I love this car!!!

    Nice :D

How many times did you have to turn around and look at her before going in the house because of this newfound appreciation?

if you have a e30, you should be slapped in the face if you dont appreciate it.

I think I stared at her with a huge smile on my face for about 10 straight minutes. I've been rebuilding her for the past couple weeks and haven't really touched the engine yet. It was really nice to know she can still hit over 100 without any issue!

I was at an open-trackday with a bunch of buddies at Arroyo Seco raceway near Demming, NM all day yesterday. First outing for the "new" E30, and she performed flawlessly. The satisfaction of all the work I've done coming together on the track, and the magic of these cars that only owners can appreciate made for quite a day. God, what a machine. Even after a 20-hour day with 6 hours of track time and 650 miles of driving, I didn't want to park her.

I always have to turn around and look at the 85, especially when i just clean it. even though is a M10 I still have to appreciate the thing.

I've been working mostly on the body at the moment. I'm saving up to get a new paint job and I'm trying to part my IS and use most of the body panels I need. So far everything is going well, she looks like a Franken car at the moment, half black half white with body filler in different places but once she's painted she's gonna be incredible! I love these cars!
