got an e28 on my hands. [no pics, sorry]

    I've got a 1988 535i, which I might have to sell...
I was thinking of maybe parting it out, but wanted to know how much of it's parts I can use, first.

Can anyone either compile a list or just give me what they would do?
The m30b34 engine has 221,XXX kilometers on it; which is 137,XXX miles..

This is an e30 board. Why would you part it out on here?

I didnt say I was going to part it out here.. I just said I might want to take some of the parts from it, and put them on my car.

      the rest i'll sell..
all i asked was for some ideas, and maybe a list of parts that i can use on my e30.

Well, you could always swap the B34 and G265 in an E30, but I have never seen the point of an M30-swapped E30. Older technology that's main characteristic is its robustness and its torque in a smaller chassis. A M5x swap seems to make more sense, but I'm sure M30-swapped cars are fun in their own right.

Surf on over to MyE28 if you are really wanting to part it.

Yeah, I was thinking about the older technology in the M30...
Reason being because it's much heavier and I don't think I'd gain that much power with it...

I was mainly curious if I could do a 5-lug swap with e28 parts..?

no you can't do a 5 lug swap with those parts.

turbo/sc the m-30 swap. that is some fun!
