You might get an email saying saying that the item is not in stock. That what happened to some smoking deals on flat screens on Amazon recently. I guess it has something to do with that if they don't have it in stock, they can't sell you it, versus, them doing a "bait and switch"/false advertising kind of thing.

So they just pretend that they are out of stock. That way they don't piss you off as much, and they don't loose money.

EDIT: Don't get your hopes up. I hope it works out, but then again....

I bought a 48" samsung 1080p HDTV for $52 when it was priced wrong and got as shipping estimate email. and then a day later one that said my order was cancelled. apparently thousands of people on forums were placing orders. ROFL at the credit card charge fee's they had to pay, since you don't get those back when you do a refund.

On a merchant account? I think you do. At least at my old job we did - Hell, even paypal waives the fees on a refund.
