Funny... I bought an e30 as a commuter to minimize the miles on my other cars (one of which is an e36). Damn e30 now has me considering getting another!

To those that "hate the e36"....Love the one you're with!

I don't think its all that bad. I mean, its a 325is e36. Not bad in my book. Probably a good commuter car. But then again, I'm not stuck up the ass of my e30.

So far it's not all that "bad"

I can definitely feel the weight increase and it does go flat after 5K. But it is growing on me. I still have the E30 so it's not a total loss ;)

Why the hostility to E36's? Geez I am not a big fan of them but why slam a guy that is just sharing his good fortune in owning a second Bimmer? I have owned several BMW's and loved them all for different reasons. :roll:

i just dont get it. you guys just shit all over e36s because you don't like them, yet most of your "upgrade" parts are coming from the e36, whether it be the actual e36 car or the Z3. i'll admit i am biased towards liking the e30 over the e36 but seriously wake up. look at pictures of bimmer meets. the 90% of people driving non-e30 cars are tasteless? give me a break. go show up to a bimmer meet in an e30, no matter HOW nice you think it is, and see how many head turns you get from non e30 enthusiasts. sorry if i come across harsh but this whole "if you have an e36 it is ugly but you should please give it to me because i secretly want it" crap is out of hand. opinions are like assholes, everyone has got one. so stop being one.

Yep, they suck so much I drive one on a daily basis, or something. Enjoy the car, it's a nice package stock, and there's a plentiful aftermarket for them if you want to open it up a bit.
