Just got a 1986 e body... ? its an auto, 325e? gonna be turning it into our Lemons racer for July in Connecticut.... look forward to all the help we will need from you guys the next several months, been paroozing your site... seem like some great guys and very loyal and devoted to your cars and we hope to make you proud;)

we just got it, still dark outside, has like 156k miles.... we will post pics ! probably as we progress too ... dont worry, search functions are our friends! not a forum newb, just to this one :)

There is only a pinky size rust spot behind the passenger front wheel.

The car runs. Has no working spedo, has shimmy at certain speeds, large acceleration noise that thumps right below the shifter at about 10mph, engine check light blinks, oozing from diff, oozing from head, has an odd fan switch that has a blue LED and was told to turn this on(?), tires almost bald, the accelerator requires both feet to press down. But we drove it an hour home reaching speeds of 60, all gears work, all interior items work. Not bad for $400.

Well, if you have any questions that search does not resolve, be sure to post in individual sub forums to get the best info (brakes, suspension, etc). There is enough knowledge here to get everything resolved and ready to go.
