    Alternator Question

    sup guys
    i own a 1986 BMW 318is diving board. about 4 hours ago the alternator wasn't working til it gave out. i was just wondering how much alternator goes for these days? i just wanted to find average price...

    my bad if its in the wrong thread...

            you have a car that doesn't exist. There wasn't ever a 86' 318is. Unfortunatly because your car doesn't exist, there aren't any alt's that will fit.

            But if its an m10 I wouldn't pay more than $40.

                still not a 318is, they only made those in 91. But an alt for an early 318, m10, isn't gonna cost very much.
