I've always wondered this. If you are trying to state that indeed there isn't an ounce in your body that could care at all... wouldn't you say, "I couldn't care less?" Saying you 'can careless' means, "oh hey there friend, I still care a little bit."

You're correct on the grammar aspect of it and normally you would have me backed into a corner, except that I do care a little bit, re-posting is a bit embarrassing but considering the content and implied spontaneity of the post, doing an extensive search to see if someone randomly mentioned this movie would kill the entire point and fun in the post. Sorry for getting a little over excited having some fun. Good call out though on the grammar though, I'm generally a big stickler for this.

To expand upon my above answer, I do respect the re-post police, and I have been part of a few R-E-etc etc lately. That has it's purpose, especially when it comes to technical questions and information that is readily available. Obviously no one wants an overflow of multiple threads on the same issue. Luckily little posts like this are short lived, intended for only quick, senseless conversation about something other than Differentials, M50 swaps and track meets.

No apology is necessary for this post.
