None of the Bentley Manuals cover E30 318is

I am trying to hunt down a good manual on the E30 318is, i have checked out http://www.bentleypublishers.com and none of their manuals specifically cover the E30 318is (M42). I did a car search and they only cover E36 318is.

Does anyone know of any other good manuals that cover the E30 318is ?

Pick up an e36 manual.

Truthfully though, the M42 is so low maintenence, there's very little you would need a manual for. There's no timing belt to change, no valves to adjust, no distributor to change out, other than changing the oil & plug, it's pretty much a maintence-free motor.

I'd put a gun in my mouth if I had to rely on messageboards for the things I reference in a bentley/factory manual for.

Pick up the Bentley e30 manual at the very least.

I am about to do a 325i flywheel conversion, it is just easier to have a manual instead of running back and forth between the computer and the car and each time having to clean the grease off me.

Kinda sucks how no one has written a manual for the 2nd best 4cyl (after E30 M3) car ever made :P

Last week i decided change my oil and oil filter, i had never done it on my 318is before so i have my oil and my filter but then i have no idea where the filter goes ?!?! So i posted here but because i'm in Australia i had to wait till the next day before i had a reply :P

E36 318iS is a M44 correct?

96+ is an M44, 92-95 is still an M42, albeit with a slightly different intake manifold than the e30.

Thats what mechanics are for, take your car to one.
