Temp Sensors

Hey guys,

Quick question, there are two temp sensors, one goes to the dash, one to the computer. Which one is closest to front or back?.

One is listed as coolant temp, one water temp #'s 12 and 13.

The blue one is the coolant temp sensor, sends signal to ECU; the brown one measures coolant temp, sends signal to gauge.

So "ENGINE COOLANT TEMP SENSOR 1-POL 1 09/1985 12621710512 $17.52" (That's the blue one - the one closest to the back) goes to the ecu and "TEMPERATURE SENSOR, WATER 20CEL 2500 OHM 1 13621357414 $44.36" goes to the dash?
