Finnaly get to the point where the cabrio is almost back on the road, all i have to do is attach this cheap universal rear view mirror i found. Went to glue it on, pressed to hard, and now the windshield has a spiderweb of cracks along the top.

Owned by my own car. Well, time to start saving for a new windshield..

Just wait until you have a "real" claim...Those windshields do count against your insurance rate and whether or not they will renew your policy.

um... no they dont, they dont count for anything.... you call 1-800-54-GIANT and tell them where our car is, they call your insurance and that's it, we dont do shit, dont even hear about it, its a beautiful thing

it doesnt even have to be a legit reason, it can be anything, like for instance, i broke my friends windshield by mooning the person in front of us for being a deuche, i hit the windshield with my ass too hard and put a huuuge spider web, next day he called giant and they came to our high school while we were in class and changed it in the parking lot for him, never saw the kid or anything, they just need name, car, and insurance company, and your golden

ORIGINAL WINDSHIELD? that's crazy! mine isnt original, but it has a shit load of chips in it. you can literally just get a new windshield weekly, and they wont care, i think im just gonna get a new one the sun hitting all the pitting makes it hard to see 8)
