T-Belt time with questions about hoses

Time to do the belt with all the goodies and have done some searching when it comes to coolant/radiator hoses and I'm still a little confused. I really don't want to replace every hose on the thing but do want to do the most critical and the ones most prone to failure. Any guidance is appreciated. TIA

You might just want to replace all the hoses. Rubber hoses that are that old sometimes won't seal after you disturb them. Why chance it?

Also, take a look at the tube that cover the CPS wire as it goes around the front of the engine. If the little clips that hold it in place are broken, the plastic tube will rub on your belts.

      Crank Shaft Front Bolt

You do not have to remove it unless your front seal is bad. There is no where that says not to it just says to do it. It is virtually impossible If you have to I have read here some people use impacts if you got a good one and some use a breaker bar and hitting the ignition to turn motor with starter but unplug the coil.

Go ahead and order all new hoses, timing belt and tensioner, camshaft oil seal and o-ring, the rubber cover on the drivers side of the upper timing cover.
Waterpump interval change is every other timing belt, if you do not have notes of the last time it was changed, do it. They are only 45 bucks new with the gasket.
Also buy new the plastic cover on front with the clips if your timing cover has the provision for them (sometimes people have replaced them with the ones without holes.
Like serg said ^^^^^ hoses dont always seal once disturbed, im fighting this at the moment until i do my engine swap.
Bavauto should have a complete hose set for your car to save time looking for part number.
Coolant should be phosphate free if you dont plan on using BMW brand coolant.

Umm...Water pump interval is the same as the timing belt, roughly every 60k.
