i dont know why you guys are bitching about this..... BMW has sports cars, and luxury cars.... so do most of the other manufacturers.... think if BMW was still making cars like e30's today.... or didnt put all those electrical comforts into the vehicle.... i think BMW would have gone under about 10 years ago.

e30 new suspension (bushings, springs, shocks, sways) engine/trans mounts and a nicley refreshed s52/6speed trans.... and you have a reliable comfortable controlable car with a whole new running gear... and you would most likly have enough left over to spring for a new color too.

as far as ABS, TCS, VSC, and all those other brake controlling safety devices... they are, for the most part good stuff.... unless you are that jackass with the z28 camaro with t-tops that does a burn out every chance he gets....

true sometimes the computer gets confused during spirited driving sometimes.... but it defaults to the off position. The point of TCS is to eliminate wheel spin, which does a few things.... save tire life..... increse fuel economy (marginal).... and most importantly increase vehicle control!!!!

i would love to see someone take a new car on the track with all the brake/traction controling computers removed and get a better lap time than with the devices enabled.... so get over drifting and doing big burnouts... learn how to drive without wheel spin or lockup and you will be faster.... TCS systems are dormant unless there is a difference in wheel speed.... (more so than just turning)

If you dont like TCS and love burnouts.... get an IROC, take of the T-tops and let that mullet grow, other wise learn to drive properly
