    New E30 owner in Vegas

    Hey guys I've been around the different forums and this seems to be the most active.
    My name is Jay, my family just moved to Vegas from Hawaii (no I'm not I just married Local). I have an E21 in pieces in my parent’s garage ion Cali that I will be bringing out soon. I just bought an 88' 325 SuperETA. I don't know much right now but plan on learning as much as I can for both models.

    I got a great deal but I need a new Auto transmission for it. The one in it is shot. I need it running ASAP. I'm having trouble getting a straight answer what transmission is in it. I have the M20b27 engine 4speed auto. is it the ZF 4HP22H OR ZF4HP22EH or am I still in left field?

    I don't have a url for my pics to post (I tried to search but didn't come up with anything) how can I post up pics. Is there a sight that I have to use?

    I would like to link up with any E30s in the Vegas area.

    i just moved to vegas about a month ago. in the market for a new e30 at current, but its a pretty dope place to be, at least it has been for me for the last month.

      I don't really care for the bright lights and all the casino's but thats probably due to the economy here and the fact that I'm a dis army vet. with a ton of civillian experience but still can't get a job. I have a couple prospects but nothing to jump up and down for. Still looking especially if it is 3rd shift work, so I don't have to work just to pay for child care.

          Welcome to the board.

          If I remember correctly, the 4HP22EH has the dial on the console that reads "SPORT," "ECONOMY," and "1-2-3." You usually see the EH in E24's, E28's, E34's, etc. Your eta likely has the 4HP22.

            Thanks for the welcome, I don't have that option ...my shifter just reads P R D S 2 1...I don't know mang.
