    Trip to Germany shopping list!

Well business is bringing me to germany, I will have some time to find some yards in the countryside and get some parts.

I speak a little german and know i can olny grab so much.

I cant bring back wheels or other large and heavy parts.

I was thinking some grilles, analog clocks, euro bumper fillers, elips, headlight washer systems, hvac panels?, steering wheels, check panels, gauge faces

give me some ideas...ill be brining them back and selling what i can, im not too interested in euro parts, just making some cash

This has been discussed numerous times. If you can even find a junk yard, the parts you could snag and send back with you wouldn't be worth the hassle or the time.

There are quite a few of us US Military members over here in Germany. You can find most of those things sold by us for very decent prices. And if you some how think we're screwing you, there is always ebay.de.

Spend your time in Germany enjoying the area, not searching for that special euro part for your E30.

I understand where your coming from, i was stationed at Ramstein AFB for a year when i was in the AF.

This is what i like to do when i travel, last time in Korea i sent back a box of mini bike parts

and on top of that, DHL is free for me to ship back, thanks corporate america!

I dont think any one is ripping me off, and to be honest, im not a huge fan of most euro parts...

Ill be around Schwalbach looks like

I can't imagine this would be a good deal... AFAIK it's more of a deal to get a container with LSD's from states and sell it in mid- central- Europe - those things are rare in here (guess who'se got one :D). Bringing stuff the other way - poitless the way I see it.

But now that dollar is not that cheap anymore, even that would be a waste of time, money etc.

The bottom line is - just go sightseeing.

correct. Furthermore most of the parts which you are looking for are allready gone. I never found headlight washing systems on the junk :(
