So, i have a wrecked 325iC and i found a 318iS shell for sale.

Now i'm sure everything will bolt in but i had a lingering thought that something wouldn't so i figured i'd ask here before i jumped into it.

Will everything in my 325 fit into the 318 roller? i don't wanna buy it then find somethin that doesn't work.

The rear seats from your cabrio won't fit in the 318is. The carpet I don think will, either. Other than that, I think everything will go in fine.

Production date-dependant, the taillights may also be different, but that's relatively small potatoes. Is the cabriolet R12 or R134A?

But yes, those things are different. As is the trunklid (just the light).

Yeah, I'm betting you have early taillamps. But late model taillamps can be sourced for ±$50-ish, heck I've got a mint driver's side lamp if you need it.

Fair price for the shell? Is it completely stripped? If it isn't rusty, maybe $7-800.

Nevermind, I forgot you had a plastic bumpered car.

Lighting won't be an issue then.

Can someone confirm if the front glass is different due to the lack of door frame on the cabriolets?

for some reason this made me laugh. then i imagined someone trying to swap EVERYTHING from a vert to a 318is chassis/frame, and laughed more.
